2025 VIETNAM HUMANITARIAN TRIP

Howdy, folks. With our 2025 Vietnam humanitarian program not too far off, I'm in the process of gathering information, determining costs, and developing a focus. Reliance on Khanh of Hearts for Hue and Nhung of D.O.V.E. Fund is critical to this undertaking. Their help is essential to our success.

At this point, I do know that we will be supplying much-needed computers and televisions to be used by teachers as classroom learning tools at Nhi Ha School. This school is situated at the site of my infantry unit's May '68 14-day grueling battle with a massive NVA force. The principal has expressed a need for 6 computers and 5 televisions, which exceeds our current capability. Right now I can commit to 2 computers and 2 TVs or 4 computers and 1 TV. Nhung just today stated that ANY help is precious and most appreciated. We have helped Nhi Ha School on each trip and I see the smiles of appreciation. Helping and healing...

Such cute and respectful kids!

In the days ahead, Khanh and I will be discussing needs in the Hue area. I've inquired as to whether there's a bird flu problem in Vietnam. I do know that each of the thousands of chickens that we've supplied has had two series of inoculations. Another option is to extend the eyeglass program that we initiated with great success last year.

In the former Landing Zone Colt area, we have always helped Son and The, Duong, and Thua. Now just Thua remains. Without fail, we will provide assistance to my comrade. Like Duong, he fought with U.S troops and is a 196th Light Infantry veteran.

                                                          Thua and Family

                                                Lady The- Passed 2022 R.I.P

Son- Passed 2011 R.I.P

Duong- Passed 2024 R.I.P

What we're doing in rural Vietnam, formerly brutal battlefields, is changing lives and turning squalor into hope. Thanks to everyone for joining me in helping and healing. YOU make it happen.
