Dec 3, 2025- 1,500 Chickens in Huong Van and Dan Dien
Yesterday
was Poultry Day in Vietnam! Thanks to your support, 30 flood-affected
families in two rural Hue villages, Huong Tra and Dan Dien, were
provided with chickens and feed. Previously, on November 19 and 20, we
provided emergency food assistance to 25 households in each of these
villages. As always, priority is given to:
-Extremely poor families
-Families with elderly, children, or people with disabilities
-Households that suffered severe property damage
Each
household received 50 chickens (21 days old), 75kg (165#) of feed, a
waterer, and a feeder. We normally provide one 25 kg bag of feed, but
the poultry company added two extra bags for each family at no charge.
These chickens provide family stability with an ongoing source of food
and income.
Dan Dien Village
Khanh, Chairman of Hearts for Hue and
Mrs. Ngoc, Chairwoman of Vietnam Women's Union-Dan Dien, made the
distribution to the recovering, deserving villagers. We're helping them
along on the path to getting their lives together.

Huong Tra Village
Khanh, of Hearts for Hue ,
assisted by Mrs. Y of the Vietnam Women's Union-Huong Tra, distributed
the chickens to the recipients. Thanks to your support, we are really
helping these folks recover from the devastating flood. And thanks to
Khanh for coordinating and facilitating our program.
Your rapid reaction and support following the record rainfall and devastating flooding in the Hue area has been absolutely amazing and inspiring. Thanks to you,150 households in four flooded villages have been provided with emergency assistance with which to purchase food basics. And now, with distribution of 1,500 chickens and 4,950# of feed, 30 households have nutritional and income stability. And I'm hoping to keep going!
THANK YOU FOR HELPING THESE HARD-WORKING, HUMBLE, AND GRATEFUL FOLKS!! YOU'RE THEIR HEROES!!!
